Hair botox treatment in Kakkanad

4.8 salon rating · from ₹2,000

Hair botox is a deep-conditioning treatment that fills in rough, porous patches along the hair so it sits smoother and shines. Nothing is injected. It calms frizz without making hair poker-straight — a good fit for dry, coloured or wavy hair that you want softer, not straighter.

Make it last.

  • Ask your stylist when you can wash it first — it varies with the product.
  • Use a sulphate-free shampoo; sulphates strip the treatment faster.
  • Wash in lukewarm water, and only as often as you need to.
  • Use a heat protectant before blow-drying or ironing.
  • Rinse out chlorine or sea water as soon as you can.
  • Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to cut friction.

Questions.

Is hair botox the same as Botox injections?

No. Nothing is injected and there’s no botulinum toxin involved. “Hair botox” is just a salon name for a deep-conditioning treatment applied to the hair, borrowed because it makes hair look smoother and younger.

Hair botox or keratin — which should I get?

Choose botox if your hair is dry or damaged and you want it softer and shinier with your natural texture intact. Choose keratin if frizz is the main problem and you’re happy for waves to relax. Your stylist will recommend one after seeing your hair.

How much does hair botox cost here?

It shares the salon’s length-based rate card with keratin and smoothening: from ₹5,000 up to the neck, ₹8,000 at shoulder length, ₹9,000 below the shoulder and ₹12,000 to the waist. The exact price is confirmed once your stylist sees your hair.

Does it last through Kochi’s humidity?

Usually two to four months. Humid weather, frequent washing and sulphate shampoos wear it down faster, so it may sit at the shorter end through the monsoon.

Will hair botox straighten my hair?

Not much. It smooths frizz and adds shine, but waves and curls mostly stay. For straighter hair, look at keratin or smoothening.

Is it OK on coloured or chemically treated hair?

Usually, yes — dry, coloured hair is who it’s for. Tell your stylist about any recent bleach, rebonding or henna; if you’re colouring too, colour is usually done first.

Can men get hair botox?

Yes. The price is set by hair length, not by who’s wearing it.
