- Wear gloves for cleaning and washing up — water and chemicals lift extensions.
- Don’t use your nails as tools for opening cans or peeling labels.
- Book a refill every two to three weeks to keep them strong.
- Always have extensions removed at the salon; prying them off damages the natural nail.
Questions.
How long do nail extensions last?
Usually three to four weeks before a refill, depending on how fast your nails grow and how you use your hands.
Gel or acrylic?
Both are ₹2,500 with gel polish. Gel feels lighter and more flexible; acrylic is harder-wearing. Your nail technician will suggest one for your nails and routine.
How much is nail art?
₹130 a finger for hand-painted art, cat-eye or holographic, ₹150 for chrome, and ₹30 per piece of nail jewellery.
Do extensions damage natural nails?
Not when they’re applied and removed properly. The damage usually comes from picking them off — removal here is ₹600.
Can I just get gel polish?
Yes — ₹90 a finger, or ₹1,100 for a French gel finish.
