Skin check
Your therapist checks for cuts, sunburn or sensitivity. A small patch test is a good idea if you’re new to it.

Cleanse
The area is cleansed so the pack sits evenly on the skin.

Apply
The de-tan pack or bleach is spread evenly and left for a few minutes.

Remove & soothe
Wiped off and rinsed, then the skin is calmed and moisturised.

- Wear sunscreen every day afterwards — SPF 30 or higher, even on cloudy monsoon days.
- Skip scrubs, acids and retinol for 48 hours.
- Don’t wax, thread or bleach the same area again for a day or two.
- Cover up on the bike — sleeves, gloves and a scarf stop the tan coming straight back.
- Keep the skin moisturised, and away from perfumed lotions for the day.

How much is a de-tan?
Face and neck is ₹800. Half arms are ₹400, full arms ₹700, half legs ₹500, full legs ₹800, and a full-body de-tan ₹3,000.
Bleach or de-tan — what’s the difference?
Bleach lightens fine hair on the skin so it blends in; a de-tan pack works on the tan itself. They share one line on the rate card at the same price per area, so ask your therapist which suits your skin.
De-tan pack or de-tan facial?
A pack is quick and targets tan. The De-tan & Youth Recovery facial, from ₹3,499, adds cleansing, massage and a mask for skin that’s dull and tired as well as tanned.
How long do the results last?
Until you tan again. With daily sunscreen and covered arms, you can usually go a few weeks before you want another.
Is bleach safe for my face?
For most skin, yes, with a patch test first. Skip it on broken, sunburnt or freshly threaded skin, and tell your therapist if you use retinoids or acne medication.
When should I do it before a wedding?
Two to three days before is a good window, so any redness has time to settle.
Do men get a de-tan?
Yes. A face and neck de-tan fits easily alongside a haircut or beard trim.
